Get ready for an unforgettable experience with this excursion to Poás Volcano and La Paz Waterfall. You'll also visit one of the most important coffee farms in Costa Rica!
Calling all nature and coffee lovers! At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel to embark on an unforgettable excursion through Costa Rica.
After an hour and a half by minibus, we'll arrive at Poás Volcano National Park, where we'll begin a hike to the top of this imposing crater. Can you smell the sulfur? As we get closer and closer, you'll begin to notice the change of vegetation - we'll tell you all about what causes this strange phenomenon on our way up. Once we reach the top, it'll be time to get your fill of photos of the incredible landscapes.
Then, we'll make our way back down the slopes of the volcano and stop for lunch at a local restaurant that will serve us a dish of typical Costa Rican food and a drink. Bon appetit!
After lunch, we'll travel by minibus to the La Paz Waterfall, a breathtaking waterfall with a drop of nearly 100 feet in the middle of the Costa Rican jungle - a truly stunning sight!
The last stop of the excursion will be at a coffee plantation. We'll delve into the world of coffee making and discover the production secrets of one of the most famous coffee brands on the planet.
At the end of an exciting day, we'll take you back to your hotel between 8 hours after pickup.
This tour includes pickup from hotels in San José, Heredia and Alajuela.
Please note that due to availability and other factors, the order of the visits and the duration may vary.
Depending on the time selected at the time of booking, a visit to the La Paz Waterfall Gardens will also be available. In this case, the total duration of the excursion will be 10 hours and breakfast is included.
