Pacuare River Rafting

After picking you up from your hotel in San José, we'll head to one of the best spots for rafting in Costa Rica: the Pacuare River. Over the course of the tour, you'll take in breathtaking scenery full of waterfalls, cataracts and trails, as well as a diverse range of fauna and flora.

First, we'll receive a safety talk so that we're fully prepared for any situation. Then, we'll hit the water for a thrilling 5-mile (8 km) route down one of the best rapids in Costa Rica. Ready for an exciting rush of adrenaline?

Once we arrive at Pacuare Valley, we'll embark on another 5-mile tour that will allow us to get a closer look at the local flora and fauna. If we're lucky, we might even see white-faced monkeys, sloths, squirrels, hummingbirds and toucans!

After a day full of adventure, we'll recharge our batteries with a delicious traditional Costa Rican meal. The menu includes rice, beans, salad, a choice of chicken, fish or pork, picadillo, plantain and juice. A vegetarian or gluten-free menu can also be requested at the time of booking.

The tour ends back at your hotel in San José.

Hotel Pickup

The tour includes pickup and transfer back to the main hotels in San José. If your hotel is located in a remote area, you will be informed of where to meet.
