Translate this opinion into English.

Civitatis subcontracted the excursion to Parina de Sal, which in turn included a different one. The driver was named Nico and took us in his Toyota 4x4. First, we saw the train cemetery, a place full of abandoned trains where you can ride them without any restrictions and at no cost. Then, they took us to the salt flat, where there are four stops. The food was nothing special, but the glass of wine at sunset was a nice touch. The price was perhaps a bit high for what we saw there. A must-see. Opinion translated. Show original.

We booked this tour with Civitatis, but it was confusing and disorganized. The pick-up was without explanation, the wait in a restaurant unnecessary, and the visit to the train cemetery a waste of time. In Colchani there was no guided tour. Incahuasi Island was closed due to rain, but it was still advertised. The staff was friendly, but we do not recommend this tour; it is better to book in Uyuni.

Our local team has confirmed that a stop was made in Colchani as indicated in the description. At this place a brief explanation is given about the salt extraction process. As for the island of Incahuasi, as we have warned on the website, it is not accessible due to the prohibitions from the Government for entry due to the rains. Opinion translated. Show original.

I missed more explanations, even in the salt factory, where we were (supposedly) given the owner and his explanation lasted 5 minutes, for which he later (yes) asked for a tip. The guide next to us, who was explaining in English to another group, was there when we entered, and continued explaining even when we left, with his little blackboard, curiosities, etc. I have the feeling of having visited the salt flat and leaving without knowing what it is about. The excursion is nice because the landscape is beautiful, otherwise I would not have liked it.

Translate this opinion into English.

The activity was very good and very complete. We saw the salt flat both dry and with water and reflections at sunset. The guide was very good, good information and he took some very cool photos for us. We were able to visit the island and the food they served us was delicious and abundant. At sunset he served us a glass of wine and a snack. Highly recommended. The only bad thing about the activity was breakfast. Very basic, the juice tasted strange and the coffee couldn't even be with milk. Opinion translated. Show original.

The first two stops of the tour (abandoned trains and town) are unnecessary. It is essential that this experience is complemented by a guide who can explain the basics of the salt flat, and not just a driver. Otherwise the landscape of the salt flat is beautiful.

Translate this opinion into English.

The Uyuni tourism agency did not take into account that we were 2 people for the tour: they accommodated us in a van without enough space, it did not have items for the 2 of us (glasses, chairs) or water boots. The driver didn't explain almost anything. Incahuasi Island was not visited as planned and charged.

Translate this opinion into English.

We are sorry for any errors that may have occurred in the organization of the service. Our team has confirmed to us that it was a confusion, however, it could be resolved at the time. On the other hand, as indicated on the voucher, it is prohibited to enter Incahuasi Island during the rainy season by order of the tourist office. This entrance is not included in the reservation price. Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

The tour was incredible. We had the opportunity to see the salt flat with and without water, as well as being lucky enough to enjoy the beautiful sunset on one side of the salt flat, and the storm brewing on the other. The guide was very patient in answering all questions and taking photos. Opinion translated. Show original.

Recomendaría el tour totalmente Translate this opinion into English.

The experience was very good, everything was excellent except that we did not enter the island of Incahuasi, which was detailed in the tour description. The food was good, but it was not what we were told either, they told us there would be a quinoa menu and they gave us rice. The guide was very attentive and punctual to pick us up and did everything to take incredible photos of us. I would totally recommend the tour Opinion translated. Show original.
