We'll meet at Avenue de Wagram, number 1 next to the Arc de Triomphe, and from this location in Paris, we'll head by bus to the north of the French capital.
After a road trip of approximately 1.5 hours, we'll reach Auvers-sur-Oise, a picturesque town where Van Gogh spent his last weeks sus últimas semanas of his life. Once there, you'll have 3.5 hours of free time to explore the town at your own pace and enjoy its exquisite cuisine.
We recommend strolling along the golden wheat fields that the Dutch artist immortalized on his canvas. Plus, you'll have a ticket to Auberge Ravoux included. This former inn, now a museum, recreates the lodging where Van Gogh spent the final days of his life.
You also shouldn't miss the Église Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption, which the artist behind Sunflowers depicted in one of his works. At the Auvers-sur-Oise cemetery, you can see the headstone of Vincent van Gogh; his remains have rested there since he passed away in the town on July 29, 1890.
After some free time in the village where the Post-Impressionist genius died, we'll leave Auvers behind and embark on a 1-hour journey to Giverny. This Normandy village is home to the House and Gardens of Claude Monet, a leading figure of Impressionist painting.
You'll have approximately 3.5 hours of free time to visit Monet's house and gardens, where admission is included. We highly recommend taking a stroll by the water lily pond and the Japanese bridge, which the painter depicted in several of his works.
Finally, we'll return from Giverny to the meeting point in Paris, concluding this 10-hour day trip.
