    The scenery is beautiful and impressive. The guide is very friendly, polite, professional, and punctual. He's a great conversationalist, which makes the trip enjoyable, and he speaks fluent English and is perfectly understandable (Tom is our guide's name). He's knowledgeable about the local culture and history. The question is whether it's worth the 5-6 hour round trip for just one hour of boating through the desert. It's 100% recommended if Nukus is on your itinerary, as there's nothing else to see or do.
