Would you like to visit Al Aqr in an original way? Hop on this vintage buggy! We'll drive through its narrow streets while discovering its history and customs.
At the indicated time, we'll meet in front of the Nizwa Fort to begin this fun vintage buggy tour through the historic village of Al Aqur.
Our journey will take us through one of the oldest towns in Oman, known for its rich history and its role in the civil wars that marked the region.
As we explore its narrow streets, we'll admire old mud houses and historic mosques and get a glimpse of traditional Omani architecture. Don't forget your camera!
We'll also share stories and facts about Nizwa, its most famous scholars and the traditions that have endured over time. For example, have you heard about the ingenious irrigation system called falaj? We'll tell you about this age-old technique that has been essential for agriculture in the region and is still in use today.
After 35 to 40 minutes, we'll say our goodbyes and finish our vintage buggy tour of Al Aqur.
