Discover the capital of Oman in the most personalised way possible with this Muscat Private Tour. You'll have an exclusive English-speaking guide, just for you and your partner, family or friends!

At the time of your choice, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Muscat and start exploring the capital of Oman. Are you ready to discover its contrasts?

The first stop on the private tour of Muscat will be the Great Mosque of Sultan Qaboos, the city's symbol par excellence and a true work of art of Islamic architecture. As we tour the exterior of the mosque, we'll talk about its construction, its five minarets and the exquisite decoration with Persian tiles, candlesticks and carpets.

We then proceed to the Royal Opera House, the third opera house to be built to Islamic standards. Afterwards, we'll visit Muttrah Souq, a large souk on the shores of the Gulf of Oman where it's possible to find everything from traditional carpets to a variety of souvenirs.

The private tour will continue to Fort Muttrah, built by the Portuguese in 1580. From here we'll walk to Al Alam Palace, the official residence of Sultan Qaboos. This luxurious residence in the centre of Muscat is a real eye-catcher thanks to its architecture and the surrounding landscape. You'll be surprised!

Finally, we'll return to the hotels of Muscat after about 5 hours enjoying the contrasts of the capital of Oman.
