Oban, Glencoe and West Highland Castles Tour

We'll meet at 8:45 am at the indicated meeting point in Glasgow to begin our tour. As we head west and cross the Firth of Clyde, you'll catch sight of the impressive Dumbarton Castle, which holds the longest recorded history of any stronghold in Scotland. Our first stop will be Inveraray, where you can either visit Inveraray Castle (optional extra), home to the Duke of Argyll, or explore the charming 18th-century town. Either way, you'll be treated to stunning views of Loch Fyne.

From here, we'll head toward the Highlands, passing beautiful castles and lochs along the way, including Kilchurn Castle on the banks of Loch Awe, one of the most photographed castles in Scotland. Have your camera ready!

Next, we'll arrive in Oban, known as the Gateway to the Isles. You'll have free time to have lunch in this quaint fishing town and explore the bay and the iconic McCaig's Folly. The tour continues past Castle Stalker on the island of Loch Laich, before arriving in Glencoe, one of the most hauntingly beautiful glens in Scotland.

On the return journey to Glasgow, you'll take in the unique landscapes of Rannoch Moor and the Black Mount, before a final stop in the village of Luss on the banks of Loch Lomond.

The tour ends back in Glasgow at 6:30 pm.
